In December 1996, MASS began to connect Wing Lung bank's branches with various international credit card centers through a network access controller, allowing real time EDC transactions. These international credit card centers include VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and JCB.
The system provides a highly secured environment for the bank as well as flexibility whilst customization was conducted according to different branches' requirements. Consolidated reports were generated automatically for the bank's headquarters resulting in efficiency and accuracy.
