Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong is one of the early adopters to implement smart card for sophisticated customer loyalty program aiming keeping customer loyal. To achieve the bank's objectives, SPECTRA Technologies' design strategy was to integrate our versatile technologies with smart card for a tangible solution resulting in intangible assets to the bank.
Consumers can now choose to join various loyalty clubs and / or loyalty programs in Hong Kong or with a global coverage. They can also choose to redeem their bonus for cheaper merchandise or dedicated items selected by the Bank; they can even choose to redeem the accumulated bonus point stored at the IC card for instant purchase purpose. Merchants in turn profit from customers' higher buying power and urge.
Following their Hong Kong branch, the bank's Taiwan and Singapore branches are also using our S9000 series for their loyalty program.
