In January 1997, SPECTRA Technologies designed and implemented a self-service golf facility booking system at the Tuen Mun Golf Centre, which is the first of its kind VISA Cash application worldwide. The system includes a 15" touch screen booking terminal with VISA Cash payment module. Totally 4 terminals were installed.
Golfers can now make use of SPECTRA Technologies' self-service Booking Terminals for the Centre's facilities such as bay booking, equipment rental and different rental packages by using VISA Cash card or Leisure Link card. Long queues can no longer be seen on Saturdays and public holidays outside the booking office.
