(Source: www.pcmarket.com.hk 26-04-2017)   磁帶碌卡機都用得 Samsung Pay 殺到香港   Martin2017-04-26 利用手機購物畀錢,近年大家應該用唔少甚至係日日用,只需拿手機出來付款的確方便得多。繼 Apple Pay 同 Android Pay 後,今日開始大家要記多一個 Samsung Pay,這個 Samsung 自家開發的支付平台今日正式登場。   除了支援 NFC 支付之外,更支援 MST( Magnetic Secure Transmission )技術,令舊式的磁帶碌卡機也可以使用 Samsung Pay。   同為流動支付平台,Samsung Pay 對比 Apple Pay 同 Android Pay 有一些技術差異之處,就是 Samsung Pay 除了支援 NFC 支付之外,更支援 MST( Magnetic Secure Transmission )技術。用得到 Samsung Pay 的手機內會備有可發射磁碼( magnetic code )的小線圈,令舊式的磁帶碌卡機也可以使用 Samsung Pay,官方就表示本地有超過 90% 終端都會支持 Samsung Pay,似乎比 Apple Pay 同 Android Pay 使用起來更方便喎。     ...

Hong Kong's Information Services Department, August 25, 2016 The Monetary Authority has granted stored value facilities licences to five organisations - Alipay Financial Services (HK), HKT Payment, Money Data, TNG (Asia), and Octopus Cards.   The licences were issued under the Payment Systems & Stored Value Facilities Ordinance which came into effect in November to empower the Monetary Authority to implement a mandatory licensing system for multi-purpose stored value facilities (SVF) and perform supervision and enforcement functions.   The authority’s Chief Executive Norman Chan said the ...

(Roundup) (Sing Tao Daily reported), the growing popularity of electronic payments, HSBC yesterday launched Hong Kong's first mobile payment service. It said that customers could make credit-card transactions of up to HK$500 just by waving their smartphones at any suitably equipped checkout counters with Visa PayWave reader.
